The Cherry Plum Studio
The Cherry Plum has been carefully designed to meet all construction compliance codes and is the maximum size allowed before requiring all that regulatory paperwork – a great office, teenage retreat, artists studio or spare room that can be wired, plumbed and finished to your requirements.

How you could add your personal touch to these studios: Marty and Cathryn understand that we do not all want the same things. These studios are just examples and several features can be varied to meet your special needs. Budgets can be met and the nature and costs of all alternatives can be discussed prior to providing you with a written quote.
• flooring material – carpet or lino could be alternatives to the kwila flooring
• lighting fixtures can be personally chosen and their placement discussed
• bathroom fixtures for shower, toilet, and basin can be selected
• there are options for joinery configurations and styling
• a tilt – away bed can be added providing a very flexible space
• wiring for all phone, TV, computer, and sound systems can be installed
Relocation of studios
The studios have been designed with a width of 3.7m, which allows for conventional transportation. The studios are built to sit on a rim of external piles for safe and easy transport, lifting, and installation. Marty is happy to quote in an all-inclusive price or you can arrange your own transport if you prefer.
Compliance needs and costs
All units will be issued with your Council’s Code of Compliance (NZ3604) before leaving Marty’s construction site. If required, all necessary regional building and resource consents can be arranged by Marty or you may want to arrange these yourself. Any terms and conditions can be made available with the written quote for your specific requirements.
