Established in 2005, Plum Tree Studios specialises in building quality ‘spare rooms’ for anyone who needs extra living or work space. Our range of studios make great home offices, sleep-outs, granny flats, pool changing rooms or guest rooms.

We build our studios off-site – so there’s no building noise or mess at your place – and deliver them to you fully insulated, wired for lighting and power and finished to your specifications. And best of all, because of their size, two of our studios, the Cherry Plum and the Greengage, don’t need building permits (we meet the NZ3604 building code).

All our studios are built by craftsman builder Marty Stevens who has over 30 years’ experience in the industry.

Prices start from $11,812 (inc GST, ex yard) and they take from as little as four weeks to build.
